Band Profiles

Brethren of the Coast

In olden times, the Brethren of the Coast were a ragtag coalition of buccaneers named by legendary privateer Sir Henry Morgan. Keeping their spirit alive, today’s Brethren of the Coast is a 3-piece musical ensemble known for their pirate-like abilities to take over a song and make it do their bidding. Favoring the more intense music of the 1960s and 70s, Brethren of the Coast is composed of three Bay Area musical veterans who sometimes hide their true identities but whose musical influences include the heroes of 1970s rock and the FreeCreditReport.com band, just to name a few. The Festa will never recover.

---------------

RubberSideDown has had many songs featured on network TV shows, including The Unit, Reaper, CSI:NY, Jericho, Beautiful People, Dawson's Creek, Joan of Arcadia, Roswell, & Felicity. This accomplished live band has shared the stage with classic rock acts like Eddie Money, The Romantics, Montrose, NightRanger, LA Guns, Y&T, and others. Their sound is '70's hard rock....most often compared to Aerosmith and Velvet Revolver.

---------------

Smooth Jazz and R&B band Chocolate Rice is a synergy of Bay Area talent, rooted in the rich traditions of blues, jazz, R&B and funk. One taste and you"ll be hooked!
---------------

Mighty Mississippi is a San Francisco Bay Area acoustic blues trio offering all of the swing of a big electric band without the screaming neighbors. No big amps, no drums, just pure gutsy blues with heart-felt lyrics.

---------------

The Rodeo Clowns are one of the Bay Area's top-flight acoustic/electric band characterized by three-part harmonies, backed by a talented, high-energy acoustic/electric rhythm section. Their music covers local classic rock artists such the Doobie Brothers, Steve Miller, Van Morrison, and ventures out over a diverse musical landscape including Jack Johnson, Lionel Ritchie, David Bowie and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, while maintaining a danceable and pleasurable listening experience.

---------------

The Refugees are a group of seasoned musicians who love the music of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, and recreate their remarkable body of work down to the smallest detail. If the Heartbreakers aren't on tour, The Refugees are the next best thing!
---------------

The San Franz are a professional pop/rock cover band performing in and around the greater San Francisco Bay Area. All four members sing and have studied at the Berklee College of Music (guitar, bass, drums, and keys).
